In today’s world, we all want to stop bullying day. We dedicate so much time and energy, but what is bullying? Seems like a simple enough question, but how many of us truly know the definition. According to stopbullying.gov, Bullying is the
“unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time.”
How do we stop it? By taking action. There are several different methods, but most of them involve speaking up and speaking out. February 9th is dedicated to this effort. Maybe we, in the community, try to come up with a strategy to further the effort. With so much going on in the world around us, we can spend this day helping others.
