Each year June is observed as National Migraine and Headache Awareness Month. The goal of this observance is to raise awareness and educate the public about migraines, cluster headaches, and other headache disorders. This year’s theme is “Inspiring Hope.” The American Headache and Migraine Association invites all to help raise awareness. You can do this by simply wearing the purple ribbon for the cause or by getting involved in a variety of programs and campaigns organized by the association. A blog challenge, Twitter challenge, and photo a day challenge are a few of these programs. If you would like to learn more about these campaigns or other opportunities please visit the link below. You can also contact the MSUM School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 218-477-2693, to learn more.
