June is National Safety Month! National Safety Month is organized by the National Safety Council, a nonprofit organization with the mission to save lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy. During June, the NSC focuses on leading causes of death in the workplace, at home, and on the road.
This year’s theme for National Safety Month is ‘What I Live For’ It is important to practice safe behaviors so that we can live for whatever we wish. Being knowledgeable about how accidents are caused and risks in workplace and home can reduce the number of injuries that occur each year. What do you live for?
