January is National Personal Self Defense Awareness Month

January is a month to help educate citizens about realistic self-defense options that could very well save their lives.

You never know when you might be finding yourself in a dangerous situation where you may need to protect yourself. A good way to learn how to do so would to enroll yourself into a self-defense class.

Self-Defense classes are great for anyone to take but they are especially good for women and teens.

1 out of every 6 American Women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime.

17.7 million American Women have been the victims of attempted or completed rape.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted by the age of 18.

Females ages 12-24 are at the greatest risk for experiencing a rape or sexual assault.

Self-defense classes are more important than just learning how to fight, self-defense classes are for teaching you how to protect and keep yourself safe.

Since January is National Personal Self Defense Month, go out and learn how to keep yourself safe, you never know when you might end up in a dangerous situation.
