This year World Mental Health Day is October 10th. The 2014 focus of this day is Schizophrenia. According to the Mental Health foundation this disorder affects over 26 million people around the world. Schizophrenia is a treatable disease; however, over half of those who suffer from it are unable to access proper treatment. October 10th is the day we all join together in raising awareness for those suffering from schizophrenia, their families, and friends. Let us help those with Schizophrenia receive proper care and shine the light on those suffering from a mental illness.
