Congratulations on your entry into the program! MSUM’s RN to BSN (RNB) program is highly respected and effective, managed by excellent and professional faculty. This combination has produced valuable graduates who are making giant strides in the field of healthcare in general. Among the many MSUM RN-BSN graduates we are proud of is Patsy Stinchfield, a pediatric nurse practitioner and director of Infectious Disease and Immunology. She was the recipient of the prestigious Eva Vraspir Nursing Excellence Award, in addition to others.
Orientation to the online RN to BSN program will be part of the first course taken by all newly admitted students – NURS 302: Bridge to BSN Education. This one-time event takes place on campus on the first day of the semester you begin the RNB program.
This orientation is very essential, especially for those new to web-based learning. The MSUM nursing program is discussed in detail, students learn how to navigate the library from home and registration procedures, and are introduced to the instructional management system (Desire to Learn, D2L). Be sure to RSVP as soon as possible to the School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership.
